Malayalam blockbuster movie Vaazha 2 is all set for its much-anticipated OTT release. The movie stars Hashir, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy and Vinayak V. in lead roles and it has been directed by debutant Svin S.A. Vaazha II: Biopic of a Billion Bros (2026) is a Malayalam coming-of-age comedy-drama directed by Savin S. A. in his debut and written by Vipin Das. A sequel to Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys (2024), the film was shot between April and November 2025 across Ernakulam, the United Arab Emirates and Georgia. Released on 2 April 2026 to positive reviews, it went on to become a box office success and the second highest-grossing Malayalam film of the year.
Vaazha 2 OTT Release Details
According to The Economic Times, Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Bros is expected to stream on JioHotstar.
According to Sacnilk, Vaazha 2 has delivered a strong box office performance so far, collecting Rs 61.15 crore net in India, while its gross domestic total stands at Rs 70.78 crore. The film has also performed impressively in overseas markets, contributing an additional Rs 55.15 crore and pushing its total worldwide gross to Rs 125.93 crore.
The film was officially announced in August 2024 as a sequel to Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys (2024), marking the directorial debut of Savin S. A., with Vipin Das returning as writer and producer.Principal photography began in April 2025 in Thrikkakkara, with subsequent schedules in the United Arab Emirates and Georgia. The shoot was completed by mid-November 2025 after a total of 115 days.

The background score was composed by A Team, while the soundtrack features 10 songs created by nine composers, including Malayali Monkeys, Rajat Prakash and Jazir Muhammed, among others.
