Tara Sutaria began her career with Big Bada Boom and made her film debut with Student of the Year 2, even ranking among Google India’s top trending personalities that year. Despite her public presence, her personal life has largely remained private. Recently, she appeared on Chapter 2 with Rhea Chakraborty, where she spoke about her non-negotiables in relationships, as well as her thoughts on marriage, motherhood, and her long-term future, including a candid response to what she values most in any relationship.
Tara said, "Deceit, betrayal, lies, dishonesty, and pretence. That's something I have grown to understand about myself. I can't (tolerate these) because I will never do that to somebody, so it's the least I would expect in return. The simple things are not the simple things anymore, right?"
Tara further added, "That's what I am saying. I want people to remember those things. It's not that hard. I think our generation makes it very hard to remind itself of those things. Simple things are not so hard to remember." She further emphasized that it is hard for her to forget and forgive if someone causes her pain. "I am not someone who forgives and forgets if you have caused me pain. Somewhere, I will hold it in and feel that pain, and I am highly sensitive," the Tadap actor shared.

At 30, Tara Sutaria was asked by Rhea Chakraborty whether she envisions having children in the future. "I don't know. It's an interesting question. So many people ask me this now, I think. A lot of my friends are having children of their own, but I think there has been a lot of clarity for them since we were kids," she said.
"And I think if you are obsessed with the idea, and you know exactly what you're getting into because you have to be so present for them. You can't... It can't be second on your list ever. It has to be the number one thing. And you have to love children so much to want to have them. And I do, but I am not entirely sure yet. I feel like when I know, I'll know. And if that doesn't happen for me, it doesn't. It has never truly been something that has been number one on my list," she confessed.
