Sydney Sweeney has frequently drawn notice for both her contentious scenes and her strong acting abilities. In case you don't know, it seemed that Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi) were married, and Cassie used OnlyFans to help pay for their future in Euphoria Season 3. The actor is in the center of controversy as the show debuted on April 12, 2026, which is probably the last chapter for the HBO series. Her semi-naked scene in a diaper went viral. 

A preview of Sydney Sweeney's character Cassie, dressed like a baby with pigtails and a pacifier in her mouth, spreading her legs in a joyful baby position. This was reportedly connected to a plot where Cassie created content for OnlyFans.

 

 

Sydney Sweeney's fans and many others on social media were criticising the scene and its designer, Sam Levinson. While some slammed the actor for getting nude, others questioned Euphoria Season 3's author for depicting 'Cassie' in a totally different avatar than in the previous two seasons.

A user wrote, "Look, this isn't something you can just brush off as acceptable or dismiss as some fantasy. This is something that needs to be seriously canceled. The player, the producer, the series—all of it should be shoved up a dog's ass with the kind of cancellation it deserves, no holds barred."

Another user said, "And after that, she comes crying saying she doesn't understand why she's hated and boycotted." A third user highlighted something similar, saying, "What the hell is this nightmare?! Romanticising pedophilia wow I don’t even have the words."

A fourth user said, "This time, I won't defend you, you stupid woman—you can sexualize yourself or shoot porn or whatever, I don't have a single word to say about it. But I'm sure if you agreed to the filming of such pedophilic content when you had the chance to refuse, you need to get out of this industry, disappear, and die."

For those who are unaware, Sydney Sweeney played Cassie Howard, one of the primary characters in Euphoria. She is a sweet but sensitive and emotional teenage girl in the series. She even struggled with low self-esteem. In terms of her personality, she is someone who requires affection and approval from others. 

Euphoria Season 3 characters are now in their mid-to-late 20s in Season 3, which begins five years after Season 2 and takes the plot far beyond the high school setting of the previous seasons. The show will premiere on JioHotstar on April 15, 2026 in India.
