Oppo is set to launch the Find X9 Ultra next week in China, and the company has already given a clear look at what to expect from its flagship. At first glance, it’s obvious where the focus is. The phone leans heavily into its camera identity, building on the design language seen on the Find X9 Pro but pushing it further.
The rear panel is dominated by a large circular camera module that immediately grabs attention. It sits prominently at the centre and houses multiple sensors arranged in a clean, symmetrical layout. The Hasselblad branding is also placed within the module, underlining the continued partnership between the two brands.

The rest of the back panel follows a dual-tone approach. One half appears to have a leather-like texture, while the other side looks smoother, giving the phone a slightly more premium, camera-inspired aesthetic. Oppo branding sits off to one side, keeping the overall layout balanced. So far, the phone has been teased in black and orange finishes, though the official names for these colours haven’t been confirmed yet.
Camera Hardware Looks Like The Main Story
If the design didn’t make it obvious, the camera specs certainly do. Oppo has confirmed some key details through its teaser, and they point to a serious focus on imaging. The Find X9 Ultra is expected to feature dual 200-megapixel sensors, which is unusual even in the flagship space.
There’s also a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom, suggesting that long-range photography could be a big part of the experience. On top of that, the device will support 8K ultra-clear video recording, rounding out a camera setup that seems built for both photos and video.
Hasselblad Edition Adds A Collector’s Touch
Alongside the standard model, Oppo has also introduced a special version called the Find X9 Ultra Hasselblad Earth Explorer Master Set. This isn’t just a cosmetic variant but a full bundle aimed at photography enthusiasts.
The edition draws inspiration from the Hasselblad X2D 100C Earth Explorer Limited Edition, which explains the design direction and accessories included. Oppo says the bundle is meant to reflect exploration and capturing extreme environments, which fits with the overall theme.
The Master Set includes a Hasselblad Professional Teleconverter Ultra, a dedicated camera handle case, and a commemorative certificate with a unique serial number. It feels more like a collector’s kit than a standard smartphone package.

Launch Timeline And Availability
Oppo has scheduled the launch of the Find X9 Ultra for April 21, and more details are expected to be revealed at the event. Pricing hasn’t been announced yet, and there’s no confirmation on availability for global markets at this stage.
For now, the early teasers make one thing clear. This isn’t just another flagship refresh. Oppo seems to be positioning the Find X9 Ultra as a device built around photography, with design and hardware both centred around that idea.
