Prateek Levi is a Sub Editor at The Daily Jagran, based in Delhi, with over two years of experience covering multiple beats, specialising in technology, from gadgets and gizmos to broader issues like privacy, security and future developments. He reports on breaking developments, writes in-depth explainers, attends major tech events, and conducts interviews that explore the social, cultural and economic impact of technology, both in India and globally. His work focuses on simplifying technical jargon for a wider audience.

Before joining The Daily Jagran, he worked at NewsX as a Multimedia Producer, covering diverse beats, and was assigned special and exclusive stories ranging from politics to entertainment. He also handled live website updates during the 2024 General Assembly elections and also monitored the overall health of website. His background in Civil Services examination preparation adds depth to his general awareness, while his time at NewsX sharpened his ability to balance speed with accuracy in fast-paced environments.

He holds a BA (Hons) in History from St Stephen’s College, Delhi University, and a Master’s degree in History from IGNOU. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Mass Communication as well and aims to pursue his studies further.

Outside the newsroom, he enjoys reading philosophy, history and astronomy. He also takes a detour from indoor activities and enjoys long-distance running and playing tunes on his guitar.
