RCB vs MI IPL 2026: Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper Rajat Patidar had smashed a brilliant fifty against the Mumbai Indians on Sunday and had created the record for scoring the joint second fastest half-century as an RCB batter in the history of this tournament. Romario Shepherd has the record of hitting the fastest half-century by an RCB batter as he had smashed a fifty off 14 balls against the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side during IPL 2025.

Patidar was on the verge of surpassing his fellow teammates' tally after he had scored 38 runs off 10 balls. Still, his innings slowed down for a few balls post Virat Kohli's wicket, which Hardik Pandya took after the star RCB batter had smashed a brilliant fifty.
