LSG vs GT IPL 2026: Saaniya Chandhok, Arjun Tendulkar's wife and Sara Tendulkar's sister, was seen attending the IPL 2026 match between Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, supporting the host team. Arjun, who is the son of the legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, is a part of the Lucknow-based franchise this year.

Sara reached Lucknow just a day before the ongoing match along with her sister-in-law. Arjun got married to Saaniya in Mumbai last month.

Both Sara and Saania were escorted by media personnel and photographers and greeted by fans at the airport. She was asked which team she would be cheering for, but she just smiled without answering, even though the reporters kept asking.

Shubman Gill won the toss and chose to bowl first. Arjun, who was roped in by the Lucknow-based franchise for Rs 30 lakhs during the auction last year, was not part of the playing XI.

Post winning the toss, GT skipper Shubman Gill said, "We'll field first. Two points in the last match gave us plenty of confidence. Looking to play better cricket and ensure the match doesn't go to the last over. We have had a tremendous time; consistency is important in a long tournament such as the IPL. After 14 matches, the most consistent team will win the tournament. Same team for us today".

LSG skipper Rishabh Pant also played the same XI.

"I think, the way wickets are nowadays, you know, the margin batting first or bowling first is not much, but you know, we've got to bowl first. I think it's amazing for us. You know, every win is important, and especially when you win like that, it shows the character of the team, you know. But we want to move on from it, you know, take one match at a time and give our best", Pant was heard as saying at the toss.

"(Talks about head-to-head), see, definitely it's a great boost for winning a match and coming into the next one. But at the same time, you know, you still have to give your best in every match because the wicket might play differently, conditions might be different. But at the same time, in our last match. We talked about intent on the field. We always talk about that as a team, and that was great to see when we were on the field, we were putting bodies on the line. We are playing with the same team", he concluded.
