India is rapidly advancing in the field of technology, with Deoghar emerging as a key destination on the roadmap for a "Developed India" by the centenary year of independence. On February 8, the Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), an institution under the Government of India, will open its new center in Deoghar.

Empowering The Youth Of Eastern India

The center will be inaugurated by Member of Parliament Dr Nishikant Dubey. It will offer local youth opportunities for training and research in quantum computing via supercomputers. As the first such center in Eastern India, it aims to provide employment opportunities to 200,000 youth within a year. Students from the Santhal Pargana region will no longer need to migrate to metros like Bengaluru or Pune for advanced tech education.

An official from the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) stated that this center will be operated jointly by C-DAC and STPI. The project will be completed in four phases, focusing on training 200,000 individuals in supercomputer manufacturing and related employment.
