Weather Update: After two days of sunshine and increased heat in Delhi-NCR, the weather is expected to be pleasant on Sunday. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), cloud cover is expected to persist throughout the day. However, the sun will shine again from Monday and the temperature will start to rise.

Monday’s maximum temperature is expected to be around 35-37 degrees Celsius, while the minimum will be 18-20 degrees Celsius. Strong winds, speeding up to 15-25 km/h are also likely.

UP Weather

The weather in Uttar Pradesh will remain mainly dry and pleasant tomorrow. Rainfall activity will decrease, but strong winds are possible during the day.

IMD has issued a heat wave warning for several districts, including Meerut, Aligarh, Mathura, Agra, Bareilly, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Kanpur, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, and Deoria, during the afternoon. The effects of the heat will be felt as temperatures rise.

Bihar Weather

The weather in Bihar is expected to remain dry on April 12. Temperatures are expected to rise and heat waves are expected to be severe in many districts.

Daytime temperatures may remain high in Patna, Gaya, Jehanabad, West Champaran, East Champaran, Buxar, Siwan, Saran, Bhojpur, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Saharsa, Purnia, Kishanganj, Araria, Bhagalpur, Katihar, and Khagaria. People are advised to be cautious to avoid heatstroke and dehydration.

Rain Alert In Mountains

A rain warning has been issued for Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh for April 12. Light to moderate rain and thunderstorms are expected in Nainital, Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand.

Rain is also possible in Kinnaur, Shimla, Solan, Chamba, Una, Mandi, Kullu, and Kangra in Himachal Pradesh. Temperatures are expected to drop in higher elevations like Manali.

In Jammu and Kashmir, several districts, including Shopian, Bandipora, Ramban, Anantnag, Baramulla, Pulwama, Rajouri, Samba, Ganderbal, Kathua, Doda, and Udhampur, are on alert for heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds. Farmers and tourists have been advised to exercise caution.
