Jagran Correspondent | Bhopal: As the mystery behind the Twisha Sharma case deepens, accused former judge Giribala Singh's and her son Samarth Singh's judicial custody are set to end today. The two will be produced at the court for a hearing on Tuesday.
Jagran sources reveal that Giribala and Samarth will not be physically present at the court due to security and administrative reasons; instead, the hearing will take place virtually. The judicial custody of the two accused is likely to be extended. As of now, no bail application for either of the accused has been moved by the defence.
Family Demands Seizure Of Twisha's Assets
Twisha Sharma's family has urged police officials for the immediate seizure of their daughter's assets (stridhan). However, the authorities disclose that they have transferred the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation, and the team will take appropriate action.
The CBI team's primary focus is on filing the charge sheet for the case. The officials stated that the making of the document is now at its final stages, and the chargesheet is likely to be issued within two weeks.
The investigation team revealed that the comprehensive technical analysis of Twisha Sharma’s laptop has been completed. The forensic examination retrieved only personal information, photographs, and professional documents associated with her previous employer. Investigators reported that the laptop scan did not reveal any definitive digital evidence or immediate clues explaining the circumstances surrounding her death.

What Do We Know About The Case?
Model, actress, and influencer Twisha Sharma was found dead at her in-laws' house on May 12 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The investigation into the death case intensified, revealing that Twisha had been suffering from depression and had also undergone an abortion. Her mother-in-law alleged that she was addicted to drugs and behaved unusually.
The deceased husband fled Bhopal and remained underground for a few days. When caught, he was taken into custody. Samarth claimed that Twisha probably had an extra-marital affair with someone and was distressed about the same.
Twisha's family members claimed that their daughter was physically and mentally tortured and that her in-laws demanded dowry from her. In the chat messages with her mother, she revealed that she did not feel fine and that the marriage was a mistake. It's been more than a month for the case; however, with each passing day, the investigation has only spiralled up.
