Delhi Weather: After brief unseasonal showers brought temporary relief to Delhi-NCR, the region is once again bracing for rising temperatures and humidity. Over the past couple of days, weather conditions have shifted noticeably, with the rain giving way to warmer and stickier days.

As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi is expected to witness a mix of sun and clouds on Saturday (April 11), keeping the weather relatively comfortable in the morning hours. However, temperatures are gradually climbing, and wind speeds are also set to increase across the region.

Delhi Weather Forecast For Today

At the same time, no rainfall is predicted for the capital region today. However, winds are likely to blow at around 11 kmph. Humidity levels are expected to linger close to 49 per cent, which could make the weather feel warmer than usual.

While mornings and evenings may still offer some relief in NCR, afternoons are likely to turn hotter and more uncomfortable due to the combined effect of rising temperatures and humidity. Overall, dry and sunny conditions will dominate the day.

Heatwave To Return In NCR

The IMD has also warned of an approaching heatwave, expected to affect Delhi between April 12 and April 16. During this period, maximum temperatures could cross 40 degrees C, while minimum temperatures may rise from the current 20-22 degrees C range to above 25 degrees C, leading to warmer nights as well.

Meanwhile, air quality remains relatively stable. The Air Quality Index (AQI) across various parts of Delhi-NCR is currently between 80 and 110, placing it in the ‘satisfactory’ to ‘moderate’ category.
