Get ready movie lovers as you have plenty to look forward to this week as several exciting films are arriving in theatres between June 16 and June 21. The lineup includes much-awaited sequels, action-packed entertainers, animated adventures, and emotional regional dramas. From Hollywood favourites such as Toy Story 5 to most awaited Bollywood film Cocktail 2 and South Indian releases such as Balan Boy, Maa Inti Bangaram, there is something for every kind of audience. Here’s a look at the major movies hitting the big screen this week.

Bollywood And Hollywood Films Releasing In Theatres 

1. Cocktail 2 (June 19) – Hindi

Directed by Homi Adajania, Cocktail 2 stars Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. The romantic drama revolves around friendship, love, chaos and complicated relationships. Packed with emotions, humour and modern-day romance, the film serves as a follow-up to the popular 2012 movie.

2. Toy Story 5 (June 19) – English

Toy Story 5 marks the return of Pixar’s popular franchise. Directed by Andrew Stanton and featuring the voices of Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, the film follows Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and their friends as they face new challenges when Bonnie becomes attached to a tablet, forcing the toys to find their place in a technology-driven world.

3. The Furious (June 19) – English

Directed by Justin Lin, The Furious stars Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez. The action thriller follows a team that comes together for a dangerous mission involving a global threat. Filled with fast-paced action, thrilling chases, and emotional moments, the movie promises an entertaining experience.

South Films Releasing In Theatres

4. Balan The Boy (June 19) – Malayalam, Hindi & Others

Directed by Dileesh Pothan, the film features Joju George and Nimisha Sajayan. Balan The Boy tells the inspiring story of a young boy from a village who faces several challenges while working hard to achieve his dreams. The film highlights determination, courage and hope. Balan The Boy will be released in multiple language including  Malayalam (the original language), Hindi, Telugu, Tamiland Kannada.

5. Maa Inti Bangaram (June 19) – Telugu

Starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and directed by Shiva Nirvana, Maa Inti Bangaram is an emotional family drama. The story follows a strong woman who struggles to protect her family's legacy and bring happiness back into their lives despite numerous obstacles.

6. Dodmansa (June 19) – Kannada

Directed by Santhosh Ananddram, Dodmansa is an action drama featuring Puneeth Rajkumar in a special legacy project alongside Radhika Pandit. The film follows a courageous man who takes on corruption and injustice to protect his community.

7. Deewana (June 19) – Telugu

Deewana is an upcoming Telugu romantic drama releasing on June 19, 2026. Starring Harshith Reddy and Smeha Manimegalai, the film follows a young man whose one-sided love for Ammu turns into a journey of passion, sacrifice and emotional struggle.
