SSC GD 2026 Exam Dates Out: The Staff Selection Board has announced the exam dates for recruitment of Constables (GD) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), the Secretariat Security Force (SSF), and Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles for the year 2026. Candidates who have already registered for the exam can now check the exam schedule and start their preparation accordingly.
The exams will start from April 27 and will conclude on May 30, 2026. This long period of exam cycle is designed to accommodate a large number of candidates effectively. The exam will take place in four phases, ensuring a smooth examination process across centres nationwide.

SSC GD Exam Dates 2026: Week Preference Facility
SSC has introduced a new provision allowing candidates to select their examination weeks as per their choice. This faculty aims to bring convenience to students participating in the large-recruitment cycle.
The preference window opens today at 3 PM and will close on April 15, 2026 at 5 PM. During this timeline, candidates have to login to the official portal and select examination weeks in order of their preference. Final allotment will be made based on availability and authoritative decisions.
SSC GD Admit Card 2026
The admit cards will be out a few days before the exam day. Candidates can login to the official portal with their application number and password and download them. Admit cards along with a government ID proof are mandatory for the exam day.
