A video purportedly showing Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal has surfaced on social media and is rapidly gaining attention. In the clip, a man reportedly resembling the spinner appears to be smoking while driving, and is also seen flicking the cigarette onto the road after taking a puff.

The clip has triggered widespread reactions online. So far, neither Chahal nor his representatives have responded to the circulating video.

Earlier, Chahal had shared that he has given up alcohol ahead of IPL 2026 preparations. The Punjab Kings spinner spoke about his lifestyle changes during a podcast with former South Africa captain AB de Villiers.

Chahal delivered a steady performance in IPL 2025, where Punjab Kings ended as runners-up after losing the final to Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The experienced leg-spinner said he is determined to return stronger, with better fitness and a sharper mindset for the upcoming season.

“I've stopped drinking alcohol, and it's been more than six months. I am now 35, so I want to be more active and give my 150% for my team. As a senior player, I want people in the IPL to learn something from me," Chahal told De Villiers.
