Mahindra Thar Price In India:  The Mahindra Thar is one of the most capable off-roaders in the country. The brand recently announced a price hike to be effective from April 6, 2026. The Mahindra Thar is now dearer by up to Rs 43,500, thanks to the price hike. The prices were hiked by the brand due to increasing input costs. However, the starting price of the Mahindra Thar has not changed with the price revision. Let’s take a look at the variant-wise price hike of the Mahindra Thar.

Mahindra Thar Facelift Launch This Year

The brand is also preparing for the launch of the Mahindra Thar facelift in India this year. The prototypes of the Mahindra Thar facelift have been spied testing on the Indian roads for quite some time now. The Mahindra Thar 3-door facelift is expected to feature a new rectangular slat-based grille at the front, along with the new LED projector-based headlamps. The upcoming Mahindra Thar facelift 2026 is expected to retain most of these, while adding some new features, including a new theme for interiors, a larger touchscreen for the infotainment system, a Level-2 ADAS suite, and more.
